A popular Dance—Techno dance of Nezha Deity

Its Origin – Frankly speaking, most Taiwanese believe in Buddha and other deities at the same time.  So there are a great number of temples in Taiwan.  Since Taiwanese love watching shows, there are no temple fairs without a variety of performances.  One of the fun performances is techno dance of Nezha Deity.
Nezha is also called San-Tai-Tze (the third prince), praised as a famous Taiwanese folk deity.  However, some performers of the temple-fair shows were teenagers, not well concerned by family. Therefore, they smoked, enjoyed drugs, fooled around in the nightclubs or did illegal things.  Something incredible happened that these San-Tai-Tze performers decided to transform their messy life into a new one in combination with music they heard in the nightclubs.
Honour of Taiwan- The 2009 World Games in Kaohsiung Taiwan, complimented as the best World Games ever, made San-Tai-Tze known to the world.  32 San-Tai-Tze performers rode motorcycles into the opening ceremony and had a splendid show right there.  Since then, World Exposition, Flora Exposition and numerous companies invite them to perform.  In addition, the lights on San-Tai-Tze’s costumes are LED lights (famous products of Taiwanese technology). What’ s more, members of Jyou-Tian Folk Drum and Arts Group (九天民俗技藝團) even wore the seventeen-kilogram costume of San-Tai-Tze to pass Sahara Desert this year (2011).  This rewrote the world new record.
